This free app allows you to stream and sync music from your PC or NAS to your Android device using a DAAP server. The app is compatible with servers like rhythmbox, mt-daapd, firefly, tangerine, forked-daapd, and many NAS devices that have a built-in DAAP server. The demo version of the app only displays half of your music files.
One of the most notable features of Music Pump DAAP Player Demo is the ability to cache the database index locally for faster access to the music. The index only needs to be refreshed when you add new music to the library. Another feature is that it should have no problem importing large music libraries ( > 20,000 songs). You can download songs, albums, and playlists in the background and add them to a local playlist that will show up in the playlist section of many music players. Music Pump DAAP Player Demo also has an offline mode feature that allows you to play your files on the SD card.
